London Mining Board Changes

London Mining announces that it has appointed a new full-time Finance Director, Rachel Rhodes, with immediate effect.
Rachel is a Chartered Accountant who has over 10 years experience in the mining sector, of which the last five years were in key financial roles with Anglo American Plc ("Anglo"). During this time at Anglo, Rachel successfully lead its global project for conversion to international reporting standards and played an integral role in major corporate transactions, including the demerger of Mondi plc, Anglo's paper and packaging business, which was dual listed on the London and Johannesburg stock exchanges. Rachel most recently served as Lead Corporate Finance Manager within Anglo's corporate finance department.
Malcolm Groat will step down as part-time Finance Director, but will remain on the board as a Non-Executive Director. Malcolm joined the company, helped significantly through the listing in Oslo,  and has contributed to the strategic and organisational development of the business.
Malcolm Groat said "I have very much enjoyed my time with London Mining. It has an excellent board and its impressive continuing growth requires a full-time Finance Director to take the business to a new level. With my commitments elsewhere in the sector, including coal, it is right that I should now make way. We have found an excellent successor in Rachel, and I look forward to my continued involvement with London Mining as a Non-Executive Director."
Christopher Brown, Managing Director of London Mining, said "We are all delighted to have attracted such a high powered candidate in Rachel to join us. We have significant growth and development plans that will both make good use of and add to Rachel's existing experience gained in a world-leading mining organisation".
